Very nice restaurant in the middle of the Spessart, only accessible on foot or by bike

Friendly staff, good vesper menu, It's very nice that Sylvan is open again. The only negative point: There are no more glasses with the beer! Paper cups only!

The perfect destination if you want to take a walk through the beautiful Spessart! Easily accessible from Straßlücke in about 1 hour on foot, or with the large round over the Karlshöh in about twice the time. The physical well-being is well taken care of and the idyll in the middle of the Weihersgrund invites you to sit a little longer before you continue your hike or bike tour well strengthened. A personal recommendation: If you are already here you should definitely try the Kochkäs-Schnitzel!

Nice restaurant with a beer garden. Very nice hiking area

We stopped here for lunch and ate something. Since it was Friday there wasn't too much going on. The food was exactly as it should be. Hearty home-style cooking with no frills, but really tasty. The portions also really fill you up and that at very reasonable prices. The service was also friendly, so we felt very comfortable. Unfortunately it was a bit chilly at the end of September so that we couldn't sit for long. But nobody can do anything for that. An absolute recommendation from us.

We went to the Sylvan today. Very good food, very nice staff. Do that in the Corana crisis really exemplary. Is certainly not that easy and with a lot of effort. Great that there are still people who do that to themselves. Bravo keep it up.

Located in the middle of the Spessart. You can only reach with muscle power, there is a cozy restaurant without being overcrowded. CORONA conditional requirements. Food is brought to the designated tables after ordering, registering and paying in cash. Enjoyment in peace and tranquility!

Well organized and friendly even in Corona times. Delicious snack and reasonable in price. Nice hiking tour, nice retreat. There is only a point deduction for environmental reasons for the cardboard / plastic tableware.

Nice destination for hiking. The dining room is quaint and cozy and the food was good. There is simple regional cuisine. Everything looked very good and tasted good, only the schnitzel was not a hit. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

There are great hiking trails to Forsthaus Gaststätte Sylvan. By car, the Sylvan is not accessible. Good bourgeois menu, nice staff. We liked it very much. In great autumn weather were enough tables in the open air there.

Located in the beautiful valley. For hikers and walkers great place to relax. Friendly, clean, great offer.
